DeMeco Ryans Injury: Eagles linebacker carted off against Texans

Eagles starting inside linebacker DeMeco Ryans suffered a right ankle injury during Philadelphia's game against the Houston Texans on Sunday.

The injury occurred on a play where Ryans intercepted Houston quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. Ryans caught the ill-advised pass before stumbling to the ground and fumbling the pick. Houston would recover on the play.

Ryans, who used to play for the Texans, was carted off to loud support from the Houston crowd. Ryans was ruled out and will not return.
