Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles suffered an injury to his left shoulder during the team's Week 9 game against the Houston Texans. Foles was visibly hurt after being sacked by a Texans defender at the end of the first quarter.
Foles was taken to the locker room and is questionable to return. Foles will have X-rays on his shoulder.
Eagles backup quarterback Mark Sanchez is in to replace Foles.
UPDATE (2:37 PM EST): Foles has been ruled out and won't return. Sanchez will play the rest of the game.
