Eagles Injury Report: Mychal Kendricks, Matt Tobin sit out of practice

An update on the Eagles Week 12 injury situation.

The Philadelphia Eagles returned to practice on Tuesday and there are a few updates on the team's injury situation as they prepare to face the Tennessee Titans this week. Keep in mind the Eagles run a light workout on Tuesdays.

A total of three players did not practice: quarterback Nick Foles, linebacker Mychal Kendricks, and offensive lineman Matt Tobin.

Foles is still dealing with a fractured collarbone and isn't expected back any time soon. To no surprise, Chip Kelly already ruled out the third-year quarterback for this week's game.

Starting inside linebacker Mychal Kendricks sitting out of practice is a concern relative to the team's lack of depth at the position. The team is already missing defensive captain and veteran starter DeMeco Ryans due to a season-ending Achilles injury suffered in Week 9. It's possible Kendricks could be taking a maintenance day, so there's no reason to panic yet.

As far as starting right guard Matt Tobin is concerned, it's unclear why he sat out. Tobin suffered a nasty high-ankle sprain in late August that caused him to miss time but he's been playing ever since he returned in Week 4. Tobin filled in at left guard while Evan Mathis was injured and switched over to right guard since Todd Herremans was placed on injured reserve. Andrew Gardner was seen taking first team snaps in Tobin's place.

The Eagles will release their first *official* Week 12 injury report tomorrow on Wednesday.

UPDATE: Some updates on Kendricks and Tobin.
