Eagles Week 11 Snap Counts: Marcus Smith II active but did not play

Here's a look at how often each player saw the field in the Eagles' loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

These are the player snap counts from the Philadelphia Eagles' 53-20 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

The following players were inactive and did not play: Earl Wolff, Jaylen Watkins, Nick Foles, Jeff Maehl, Taylor Hart, Dennis Kelly, Julian Vandervelde.

The following players were active but did not play: Matt Barkley, Marcus Smith II, David Molk.

OFFENSE

Notes:

Jordan Matthews played more snaps than Riley Cooper for the first time all season. Matthews wasn't used on the outside in place of Cooper; he was still used in the slot.

Running back LeSean McCoy was spelled a good deal by the combination of Darren Sproles and Chris Polk.

Veteran tight end Brent Celek continues to be ahead of Zach Ertz.

Brad Smith got some offensive snaps due due to the blowout situation.

DEFENSE

Notes:

Nothing too out of the ordinary here.

First round pick Marcus Smith II was active but didn't play despite the blowout. It seems odd that they couldn't even find playing time for him in this situation.

Casey Matthews played a few more snaps than Emmanuel Acho did, so it wasn't quite the 50/50 split the Eagles used last week.

SPECIAL TEAMS

Notes:

Nothing out of the ordinary here.
