The Philadelphia Eagles have announced that Boyz II Men will be performing during halftime of the team's home game against the New York Giants this week. Straight from the press release:

For over two decades, Boyz II Men have given fans a rich catalogue of hits and number one albums that have withstood the test of time. On Sunday, October 12th, the bestselling R&B group will perform at halftime of the Eagles-Giants game at Lincoln Financial Field. The group will perform a medley of songs that will feature some of their new sound, as well as their classic hits.

"This is a perfect homecoming for us," said Boyz II Men. "It’s always a treat for us to perform for our hometown fans in Philly—but to do it at a big Sunday Eagles game, on the cusp of releasing our new album, will make it a really special show."

Boyz II Men consists of Philadelphia natives Shawn Stockman, Wanya Morris, and Nate Morris. The four-time Grammy Award-winning group is scheduled to release its new album, Collide, on October 21st. With over 60 million albums sold in their career, they hold the distinction of being the best-selling R&B group of all time.

The Eagles are really pulling out all the stops for this game, huh? Sunday Night Football also marks #BlackSunday, meaning the debut of the Eagles all-black uniforms.

With Boyz II Men in the fold, there's just no way the Eagles are losing this game now.
