History says DeMarco Murray's incredible season is likely to decline down the stretch - Philly.com
While Murray has been absolutely tremendous so far in 2014, history says his production is likely to fall off from here on out.

Deceptively Good? - Iggles Blitz
Clearly the Eagles are a flawed team, but there is something about this group. They have gotten great STs play and that has impacted several games. The defense has scored a couple of TDs and set up another. The offense has been erratic, but excellent at times. The Eagles have enough overall firepower that they can make plays in a variety of ways. That has kept them in every game and helped them to win some. Eagles fans talk about the bad loss at Arizona, but a little perspective changes that. Ask the other teams about a bad loss and they will tell you about an ass-kicking they got and how they lost by at least 10 points. Most of those teams were scraping and clawing to even get back into those games. The Eagles were right there ready to win, but just couldn’t make the final couple of plays that they needed.

For His Mom, Beau Allen Opens Up - Birds 24/7
Thanks to a most timely bye week, Beau Allen was able to travel back to the Twin Cities to be with his mother, Susie, for her 50th birthday. Now gainfully employed by the Philadelphia Eagles, the 22-year-old was able to treat his folks to dinner for the first time.

Eagle Eye: More Than Watt On Texans' 'D' - PE.com
The Houston Texans, led by first-year head coach Bill O'Brien, are one of the early surprises of the 2014 NFL season. They started 3-1 after besting a tough Buffalo Bills team in Week 4, before losing to the Cowboys, Colts and Steelers all by a touchdown or less. This team could easily have a better record than what they have now and after a big division win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 8, they’ll be looking forward to the Eagles coming to town on Sunday before their bye week.

Eagles' inconsistency in the red zone persists - CSN Philly
Some storylines just won’t go away. At present, there are two topics that have and will continue to dominate the Eagles’ discussion. One is Nick Foles and his on-going issue with turnovers. The other is the Eagles’ sluggish, sloppy play in the red zone. And around and around we go. When it stops, only they know.

Report: Underwear-stealing Cowboy wanted massage in jail - The 700 Level
Stop us if you've heard this one before. Dallas Cowboys' running back Joseph Randle was arrested two weeks ago on charges of allegedly stealing underwear from a department store. That was just the beginning of the story. Following the arrest, he actually became a spokesman for the underwear company. That's pretty amazing. But then today, news broke of what went down while Randle was in jail that night.

Chip Kelly wants no involvement with player injuries - PFT
So why does Kelly want detailed info about player sleep habits and nutrition but not detailed injury information? "Because I can’t affect that," Kelly said.  "I can affect their sleep patterns.  I can’t affect their injury, though.  If a guy tore a muscle ‑‑ I’m not Dr. Miyagi.  I can’t put my hands together, rub them together, touch his leg and make him better.  Just tell me who can play, who can’t play.  I’m really good at what we can control and what we can’t control, and we can’t control that.  So let’s go play."

Eagles' Jason Kelce doesn't care if J.J. Watt or 'Jesus Christ himself' is on the field Sunday - SB Nation
Jason Kelce and the Eagles have apparently been asked a few too many questions about J.J. Watt this week.
