The Philadelphia Eagles don't play until 4:05 PM EST on Sunday, but there are a number of NFL Week 8 early games to watch in the meantime.
One of those games is set to take place way earlier than the normal early game start time. The Detroit Lions and Atlanta Falcons will face off at Wembley Stadium in London, England as part of the NFL International Series. This game begins at 9:30 AM EST and will be broadcast nationally on FOX. (Note that the Eagles might be "prime candidates" to play in London in 2015.) Eagles fans can root for an Atlanta upset over Detroit.
There aren't too many games that will be of high interest to Eagles fans. No NFC East teams are scheduled to play because the New York Giants are resting on their bye week and both the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins will face off on Monday Night Football.
Eagles fans can, however, keep on eye on the team's next two opponents. Philadelphia's Week 9 opponent, the Houston Texans, are in Tennessee to face the Titans. The Eagles' Week 10 opponent, the Carolina Panthers, are at home to face the Seattle Seahawks.
Here's everything you need to know about how to watch the games. Click here to see which game is broadcasted in your region. The Philadelphia area is scheduled to receive the Seattle Seahawks versus the Carolina Panthers on CBS.
Here's who the BGN writers are taking. Here's advice when picking against the spread.
All games begin at 1:00 PM EST except for the Lions-Falcons match-up, as previously noted.
