Thursday Night Football is here to kick off Week 5 of the 2014 NFL season. The Minnesota Vikings (2-2) are in Green Bay tonight to take on the Packers (2-2). It's an exciting NFC North match-up.
This game is of interest to Philadelphia Eagles fans because it features two NFC teams. The Eagles are scheduled to play the Packers at Green Bay in Week 11 on November 16.
It's probably in the best interest of Eagles fans to root for a Vikings victory. Minnesota would be 3-2 with a win over the Pack but their long-term outlook seems less threatening than that of Green Bay's. A Packers loss would drop them to 2-3 and 1-3 in the NFC. Green Bay isn't an overly impressive team right now but they can't be counted out as long as Aaron Rodgers is around.
Here's all the game information you need if you plan on watching.
