Pro Football Focus is a site that grades NFL player performances. Let's take a look at what they had to say about the performances in Philadelphia's 26-24 season-ending loss to the New Orleans Saints.

PFF offers explanation on their grading system on their website. Read more about that here.

OFFENSE

Best

Nick Foles +2.4
Lane Johnson +2.0
Todd Heremans +1.8
Jason Peters +1.5
Evan Mathis +1.3

Worst

Brent Celek -2.0
Jason Kelce -1.0

Analysis: Nick Foles didn't have the fastest start. He finished with 195 yards on 23/33 passing (69.7%) for a 105 QB rating. Rookie RT Lane Johnson graded negatively as a pass blocker with 1 sack and 2 hurries allowed but did play well as a run blocker. The same goes for Todd Herremans. Jason Peters and Evan Mathis were better against the pass than they were in run support.

Brent Celek graded poorly as a run blocker and so did center Jason Kelce.

DEFENSE

Best

Bradley Fletcher +1.2
Trent Cole +1.1

Worst

DeMeco Ryans -3.4
Mychal Kendricks -3.2
Fletcher Cox -1.4
Patrick Chung -1.1

Analysis: Bradley Fletcher made 5 tackles and only allowed 2 catches on 4 targets for 19 yards. Fletcher also had an interception on a deep Brees pass attempt. Trent Cole recorded 1 sack, 1 hurry, 5 tackles, and 6 stops. Cole also knocked down a pass in coverage.

DeMeco Ryans struggled as a run defender having made 8 tackles but missing 2. He was also marked responsible for 5 catches on 6 targets for 74 yards and 1 TD. Ryans did have an interception on an errant Brees pass. Mychal Kendricks also struggled in coverage with 4 catches allowed on 4 targets for 41 yards. Kendricks was assigned for 2 missed tackles.

Fletcher Cox's season did not end on a hot streak. He did a good job of disrupting some of the Saints' screens but did not provide any pass rush. Patrick Chung predictably struggled with 2 missed tackles and 1 big 40 yard catch allowed.
