Believe it or not, the Eagles have two quarterbacks in Hawaii. Michael Vick did not make it out to the Pro Bowl festivities, but practice squad passer G.J. Kinne did. He earned his way to the all-star game by being a tremendous roommate this season. Kinne's ability to take out the trash, clean dishes and provide friendship to Foles, helped him make the trip.
Must Reads
Foles decided to take his teammate and apparent roommate, Kinne, to his first Pro Bowl. He decided to share the honor with his friend, which is a pretty cool thing to do. Here is what Foles had to say about the selection of Kinne in his first entry in his Pro Bowl Diary on PhiladelphiaEagles.com:
I brought G.J. Kinne as my guest. He's a great friend and I wanted to share the experience with him. He's been a great teammate and a great friend. He lived with me during the season, and I felt like he would really enjoy the time here.
That is pretty cut and dry, but obviously they have struck a bond. It pays to be the best friend of the Eagles starting quarterback. Foles is also great mates with Emmanuel Acho. Clearly, Foles loves the (practice squad) kids.
You can now continue to go about your day...
