Live From Mobile - Tommy Lawlor, Iggles Blitz
Jeremiah Attaochu – 6-3, 242 – My favorite OLB prospect here. Has played LB and DE. Has some violence to his game. Tough, physical player, but also athletic. Curious to see how he measures in.

Mathis' road makes Pro Bowl, all-pro nods special - Reuben Frank, CSN Philly
To really understand why this means so much to Evan Mathis, you have to reflect a little bit on his journey. Mathis is with his fourth team in nine seasons. He averaged 3½ starts in his first six years in the NFL. Until this year, he had never been a full-time starter on a winning team. He turned 32 during the season. From the Panthers to the Bengals to the Dolphins to the Eagles, Mathis tried to find a home. The team changed, but the goal didn’t. He wanted to be the best.

Who's who on the Eagles' Senior Bowl scouting trip - Jeff McLane, Inquirer
A year ago at this time, there was some question whether Lane Johnson was a first-round draft pick heading into the Senior Bowl. Could the Eagles find another sleeper at this year's game? Three of their last four first-round picks - including Johnson - played in the annual event, which begins Monday with weigh-ins and the first day of practice before Saturday's game. The Eagles have selected more prospects (18) who played in the Senior Bowl than any other NFL team during the last four drafts.

A hint for Eagles: Special teams matter - Mike Sielski, Inquirer
Sunday was about quarterbacks. That much, no one could deny. The NFL's two conference championship games were about Tom Brady and Peyton Manning and their dueling legacies, about Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson and the validation of the position's evolution. These were the day's most compelling stories, because in football, the quarterback is always the most compelling story. Around here, though, the questions foremost on everyone's mind during a championship-game Sunday are usually the same: What can the Eagles learn from this? Where do they need to improve to reach this level? It's practically a tradition. We probe the NFL's four semifinalists for a quality that is an asset for them and a liability for the Eagles. This year, there was an easy answer. Special teams, of course.

Tony Pauline's Senior Bowl Preview - Tony Pauline, PE.com
There are a number of players to watch at the linebacker position but the week is most critical for Michael Sam of Missouri. Dominant as a pass rusher from his defensive end position, Sam was a presence in opponent's backfields last season, totaling 11 sacks and 19.5 tackles for loss. And while he showed great skill up the field, Sam will now be asked to move in reverse as well as laterally to show similar playmaking ability. Shea McClellin found himself in a similar position in 2012; a dominant college defensive end who moved to a traditional linebacker spot at the Senior Bowl. He made a seamless transition and displayed so much versatility that McClellin landed in the bottom half of round one that year. If Sam displays a similar aptitude for the linebacker position he could move into the draft's initial 60 picks.

Why you mad, bro? Richard Sherman didn't do anything wrong - Brian Floyd, SB Nation
After his postgame interview on the field, Richard Sherman was called classless. He was called a thug. He was called just about everything he could be called. And for what? Because he spoke his mind after playing a big part in the game-winning play? After saying, essentially, if you come at the best, you best not miss? After Michael Crabtree apparently provoked him in the offseason?
