Eagles Injury Report: Latest on Earl Wolff's Status

Earl Wolff says he feels great, but will he play?

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Eagles released their Thursday injury report but there's a caveat to note: it was only a light practice, comparable to a walkthrough. Everyone "practiced" except for backup center Julian Vandervelde, who is still dealing with a back injury.

Most notably, Earl Wolff was a full participant. Wolff had missed the past two days of practice after also missing the Cowboys game last Sunday. Speaking to the media after practice, Wolff said his knee feels the best since he injured it. He said it's now up to the coaches and training staff if he will play.

Safeties Patrick Chung and Kurt Coleman have been reportedly splitting repetitions with the first string defense in practice this week. If Wolff doesn't play, it is surely possible Chung and Coleman will rotate in and out of the game, just like they did against the Vikings.

Other than the injuries to Vandervelde and Wolff, the Eagles are remarkably healthy heading into their playoff match-up against the Saints.
