NFC East "strength of schedule" revisited after three games

USA TODAY Sports

A lot is made of the strength of schedule every off-season as if fans and the media can predict their team's record. However, in most cases, the NFL's organic necessity to create parity proves most predictions to be false. This season, just three weeks old, has already proven that a betting man needs to look at history before predicting wins and loses.

The NFC East, which has an annual buildup of glitz and glamour, is once again among the worst divisions in football with a combined record of 3-9 in through Week 3. With no one currently running away with the division (how could they?), it is important to revisit the NFC East teams' respective schedules moving forward.

Below are the remaining reschedules with opponents and their records through three games mapped out. You will also notice that a total record is calculated at the bottom of each table. This total serves as the indicator of which teams have the toughest roads ahead for the remainder of the season based on their opponent's current success.
