NFL Week 3 Early Games Round Up: Giants lose 38-0

The Giants were shut out on Sunday.

Streeter Lecka

Here is a quick look at the games:

Ravens 30, Texans 9

Ed Reed's return to Baltimore ended up well. The Ravens were without Ray Rice but won anyway. The Ravens really kept Arian Foster in check: only had 12 carries for 54 yards.

Giants 00, Panthers 38

New York looked terrible and played themselves into a 0-3 record. Carolina notched SEVEN sacks on Eli Manning. LolGiants. Cam Newton had quite the day for the Panthers: 223 yards and 3 TD (1 INT).

Packers 30, Bengals 34

A barnburner in Cincy! Gio Bernard and BenJarvus Green-Ellis put the Bengals on the board first 14-0, but then the Pack scored 30 unanswered. Aided by some GB turnovers, Cincy staged a comeback. Great win for the Bengals.

Rams 7 Cowboys 31

Nice win for the Cowboys. DeMarco Murray had himself a day with 175 yards on 26 carries (6.7 avg) and 1 TD. Dallas is 2-1 and the best team in the NFC East right now. We will see if it lasts.

Browns 31, Vikings 27

Brian Hoyer! Cleveland wins despite trading their starting running back, Trent Richardson, to the Colts.

Buccaneers 3, Patriots 23

New England are 3-0 but haven't always looked sharp. Thankfully for them, the Bucs are a pretty bad team.

Cardinals 7, Saints 31

New Orleans is hard to beat with dome field advantage.

Chargers 17, Titans 20

What is up with this Titans team? They beat a crappy Steelers team in week 1 and then came close to upsetting a decent Texans last week. Now they beat the Chargers. Jake Locker threw for 299 yards and 1 TD.

Lions 27,  Redskins 20

Washington is now 0-3 and easily one of the worst teams in the league. The Skins had a chance to win the game but thanks to some missed opportunities (turnovers, dropped TD) they lost to Detroit at home for the first time ever. The Skins were previously 21-0 against the Lions in DC.
