Vinny Curry is finally active for the Eagles as they take on the Chiefs in Philadelphia on Thursday night. Curry missed the first two Eagles games due to being placed on the inactive list prior to kickoff.
It was a curious decision to keep Curry inactive in the eyes of some since Curry had an impressive training camp and preseason.
That doesn't matter now because Curry will play tonight. The Eagles pass rush has struggled through two games and Curry figures to bolster that weakness.
Shaun Prater, the CB the Eagles added shortly after trimming down the roster to 53, is active for the first time this season.
The seven Eagles players not suiting up for today's game include:
QB Matt Barkley - Third string QB.
CB Jordan Poyer - Depth CB.
OT Matt Tobin - Depth OL.
CB Roc Carmichael - Depth CB, still learning the playbook, only signed this week.
OT Dennis Kelly - Depth OL, still recovering from back surgery.
TE Emil Igewenagu - Depth TE.
DL Damion Square - Inactive in place of Vinny Curry.
