On Tuesday, Joel Thorman of KC Chiefs SBN blog Arrowhead Pride asked "Which Philadelphia Eagles players would Kansas City Chiefs fans take?" Joel picked DeSean Jackson, as did many of the AP community members. Not a bad pick, AP. DeSean is on pace to have a monster season for the Eagles.
Now, Eagles fans, it is your turn.
Which Chiefs player would Eagles fans take right now?
I wouldn't even consider any of the Chiefs' offensive players. Alex Smith, Jamaal Charles, and Dwayne Bowe are all good players but the Eagles obviously don't need help on that side of the ball.
Where Philly does need help is defense. There are a number of justifiable options to pick from... but I will take Brandon Flowers. He has been a great cornerback for KC and he is only 27. The Eagles secondary has looked very poor in 2013. Cary Williams struggled against the Chargers after playing well against the Redskins. Bradley Fletcher seems like a solid starter opposite Williams, but also could be upgraded upon. Flowers would be a big boost to this secondary. Plus, he's also the lead singer of The Killers.
Also, welcome to our friends at Arrowhead Pride to BGN. Feel free to tell us who the Eagles fans should pick.
