Eagles vs Chargers 2013 Inactives: Vinny Curry is inactive again

For the second straight week in a row, defensive lineman Vinny Curry is not active. Earlier in the week, Mike Kaye discussed the status of Curry.

Not playing Curry against the Redskins seemed reasonable because the Redskins are a running team. Curry is better suited as a pass rusher, so it is a surprise he is not active against a passing team like the San Diego Chargers.

The other Eagles players not suiting up for today's game include:

QB Matt Barkley - Third string QB.

CB Bradley Fletcher - Injured: concussion.

OT Matt Tobin - Depth OL.

CB Shaun Prater - Depth CB, still learning the playbook.

OT Dennis Kelly - Depth OL, still recovering from back surgery.

TE Emil Igewenagu - Depth TE.
