Eagles-Redskins First Play Prediction Contest Results

And the winner is...

Rob Carr

Prior to Monday night's Eagles-Redskins game I set up a prediction contest. The goal was to predict some of the Eagles "first plays". Here is how the competition played out.

As listed in the official gamebook:

First offensive play: (Shotgun) M.Vick pass short left to R.Cooper to PHI 26 for 6 yards

First tackle: A.Morris right tackle to WAS 23 for 3 yards (T.Cole)

First TD: M.Vick pass deep middle to D.Jackson for 25 yards, TOUCHDOWN.

And your winner is... RossyJr22

While no one got the predictions exactly right, I felt that Rossy here came the closest. He was one of the 3 people who had Cole making the first tackle. He was also one of the few that had Cooper making a catch in the first play. Congrats, Rossy! Your prize is a mention in tomorrow's "The Linc" post and a shoutout on Twitter. You earned it.

First Offensive Play: Vick roll out to Cooper down the sideline for 40 yards (* I really hope he starts off by hiding in the end zone)
First Tackle:Trent Cole all over RG3 to silence the doubters
First Touchdown: McCoy Off Tackle left for 8 yards
