The Eagles kickoff their preseason tomorrow but 12 teams will take the field tonight. NFL Network is giving us live-looks of five games tonight from 8-11 p.m. and ESPN airing the Bengals at Falcons. Below are a list of games and the storylines for tonight. So drink beer, watch football and alienate the kids because it's a Thursday Night Football frenzy to jump-start the first week of the preseason.
Ravens at Buccaneers
Joe Flacco has already thrown a pick and the defending champs are exchange big hits on each other's quarterbacks with the Bucs. On display for this game is Mike Glennon and Tyrod Taylor as their respective teams try to showcase them for trade bait or future playing time.
Bengals at Falcons
The Falcons are going to be featuring new additions like Stephen Jackson and Desmond Trufant, while Cincinnati will be highlighting their young defense and lack of weapons on offense with A.J. Green sitting out. This game is on ESPN right now.
Rams at Browns
Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey with a competent quarterback, enough said.
Redskins at Titans
The leagues most exciting running game against the most bland team in the league. If you are looking to scout out the NFC East competition, Kirk Cousins will be holding down the fort for Washington. PAT WHITE!!!
Broncos at 49ers
Of course the NFL wouldn't let the one game that was interesting on national television. Who doesn't want to see Colt McCoy against Brock Osweiler?
Seahawks at Chargers
This game will be live on NFL Network at 10 p.m. ET. and it will be interesting to see how the Chargers look with a new coaching staff and a team that no one is talking about. I will be watching this game solely to check in on one of my favorites from the draft, cornerback Josh Johnson from Purdue.
Enjoy your Thursday!
