Philadelphia Eagles roster cut down day open thread

The Eagles have 9 more cuts to make before the deadline.

The Eagles need to cut the roster down to 53 by 6 PM EST. As of this post, it currently stands at 62. That's 9 more cuts to go.

Throughout the day, we will be updating this thread with cuts made by the team on Friday. Be sure to check back to BGN for all the latest news on Eagles' cuts. You can follow the staff on Twitter at @BrandonGowton, @JimmyKempski, @mike_e_kaye, @EaglesRewind and @JeromesFriend as the mass exodus takes place over the next 48 hours. 11:35 AM - Eagles release S David Sims.

12:30 PM - Eagles release OT Michael Bamiro. He tells reporters that the Eagles intend to put him on the practice squad.

12:45 PM - Jeff McLane says the Eagles will be keeping Colt Anderson and Jake Knott on the 53.

1:20 PM - Undrafted rookie FA Russell Shepard is released. Definitely a practice squad target. Thought he had a legitimate chance to make the final roster.

1:30 PM - The Eagles cut former first round pick Danny Watkins. That 2011 draft class was really something, huh?

1:34 PM - TE Clay Harbor tweets that he's been cut.

2:20 PM - According to Reuben Frank, offensive linemen Allen Barbe and Matt Tobin have made the final roster.

2:41 PM - The Eagles say they will announce their roster moves at 4pm:Boyko_medium :

3:55 PM - Eagles release RB Matthew Tucker.
