Let's get to the links:

Alex Henery is striding faster on kickoffs, and the results are good - Jimmy Kempski, Philly.com
According to NFL.com, Alex Henery averaged 63.3 yards on his kickoffs in 2012, which means that opposing kick returners were fielding the ball at the 1.7 yard line, on average. So far throughout the preseason, he's averaging 67.4 yards per kickoff, meaning that returners are fielding his kicks 2.4 yards deep in the end zone, on average.

Three-Way Battle At Inside Linebacker - Danta Klaus, PhiladelphiaEagles.com
The battle at backup inside linebacker has been an underrated one throughout Training Camp. Nevertheless, three players are fighting for roster spots behind presumed starters DeMeco Ryans and Mychal Kendricks. Those players are Emmanuel Acho, Jake Knott and Casey Matthews, all of whom have had strong Training Camps and consistently flashed both in practices and games.

No More Mr. Nice Guy - Tommy Lawlor, Iggles Blitz
My point here is to talk about how Reid’s coaching style led to some sloppy play over the years. The Eagles didn’t do enough of the little things that it took to win some games. Penalties were an issue at times. Reid was terrible with challenges until the last couple of years. Timeouts were a bit of an adventure. Game management was erratic. We saw the Eagles lose to lesser teams just about every year.

Understanding Chip Kelly’s Approach To Defense - Tim McManus, Birds 24/7
That matches up with what we have seen at practice. If you’re looking for Kelly, it’s a safe bet that you’ll find him with the offense. (Unless it’s a special teams period, in which case he stands with the returners.) He may travel over to the defensive side from time-to-time but it’s obvious where most of his attention goes during practice sessions.

Mike Vick, Ahead Of His Time - Bomani Jones, The Shadow League
Fast forward to 2013, seven seasons removed from Vick’s last as the Falcons’ starting quarterback. It’s insane to think of a 33 year-old, 13 years removed from his last season in college, in terms of potential. But here we are, at the dawn of the Chip Kelly era, with Vick preparing to lead a futuristic attack that rocked college football, and has already begun to influence play in the NFL. We don’t know just what Kelly will want to do, nor whether Vick is the man to make those things happen.

From Worst to First – Can Any Team Do It This Season? - Tajh Jenkins, Fanspeak
With the start of the 2013 NFL season just under two weeks away, there are a few teams in the league looking to improve on their dismal 2012 seasons. While some teams have already established themselves as Super Bowl contenders, others are looking to go from their respective division cellars to playoff contenders this season. You might be thinking that it’s not possible, but recent NFL history suggests otherwise. In fact, going from "worst to first" is very doable in the NFL.

Remember This Guy: William Thomas (And the 1995 Giants) - Where Is Ben Rivera, The700Level
Willie T was always smack dab in the thick of things. As the legend goes, he once recovered a fumble in Phoenix, while simultaneously performing magic tricks for a delighted crowd in the downstairs bar at Finnegan’s Wake. When asked about this feat, Willie T slyly replied, "It’s magic."

Dave Fipp injecting life into Eagles' special teams - Geoff Mosher, CSN Philly
Ask different players, you’ll get different answers. Why do the Eagles look so impressive on special teams this preseason? Some credit the scheme. Some say it’s the heavy emphasis at practice. Some say it’s players making the maturity jump from Year 1 to Year 2. All of them, though, credit new coordinator Dave Fipp for making special teams not seem like such a drag.
