A week ago, I listed my 5 best and 5 worst performances at Eagles training camp. The first name I listed under "worst" was Felix Jones:
Felix Jones: He can't run, catch, pass protect or play special teams anymore. But otherwise, he was great.
Jones had virtually no chance of making the team, so the Eagles did well just to get a body in return for him at a position where they are very thin.
The Eagles seem to be set at RB, with LeSean McCoy, Bryce Brown and Chris Polk forming a very exciting trio, and Matthew Tucker playing well in the opportunities he has gotten. It was clear that Jones was the 5th best RB on this team, and one whose talents have long since evaporated.
The Eagles have made 4 player-for-player trades this offseason. Player-for player trades have been extremely common for the Eagles, which is something that Mike Kaye of BGN pointed out yesterday.
Robinson has Philly roots, as he went to Temple. In 2009, Robinson had 12 sacks for the Owls. We'll have more on Robinson soon.
