Who Will Be The Breakout Players of Eagles Training Camp?

We are less than two weeks away, people. Finally. This is the most anticipated Eagles training camp since 2004, and soon we'll see the start of Chip Kelly's NFL vision take hold on the field. Which players will shine?

Evan Habeeb-US PRESSWIRE

Thirteen -- 13 -- days is all that separates us from the end of this wretched dead period and the beginning of Eagles training camp when rookies report on Monday, July 22. From that point forward it will be five straight months of Eagles football at the very least, even more if the team exceeds expectations and makes the playoffs. Everyone is licking their chops to see what kind of training camp Chip Kelly will run, how his schemes and the players will look on the field. The three-day minicamp in early June gave us our first taste, but it's really always been about waiting -- impatiently -- for the end of July. Expect the same loud and continuous music, lightning-fast pace, simultaneous reps, human fly-swatters, kooky formations, plenty of things we haven't seen (or imagined) yet, and for each media member in attendance to feverishly live tweet every single play.

For now, I'd like to open up the floor to commenters. Which position battle interests/excites you the most? Which players do you think will look best? Which players do you think are in line for breakout performances? Do you think anyone currently being overlooked or cast aside is set to surprise? I'm no different from anyone else in that I'm most excited to monitor the QB battle. My candidates for breakout performers are Damaris Johnson on offense and Mychal Kendricks on defense.

Last but not least, nominate your annual Na Brown Award winner. Early leader in the clubhouse: Ifeanyi Momah.

Note: I'm expecting big things from the orange blocking sled featured in this posting's title picture.
