The Linc: Jeremy Maclin expects more looks under Chip Kelly

A bunch of stuff written about the Eagles that you should be reading.

Maclin expects to be more involved under Kelly - Reuben Frank, CSN Philly

"I'm going to be honest, the last offense was geared to the position that D-Jack played," Maclin said. "That's just what it was. That's just what it was. So the fact that I was able to personally accomplish what I accomplished, I think as far as the position I was playing, I think that's above what that guy normally does."

Report: DeSean signs with Segal, not Jay Z - Sheil Kapadia, Philly Mag

Jackson parted ways with Drew Rosenhaus last month. Yahoo Sports reported that Rosenhaus has filed a grievance, alleging that Jackson owes him more than $400,000.

(Jimmy note: There will always be a place in my heart that roots for bad things for Drew Rosenhaus for helping ruin the 2005 season. However, he is now an ally. Roseman and Rosenhaus are thought to have a very good relationship.)

(Jimmy note #2: Last month, after OTAs and minicamp were complete, DeSean called the QB competition "kind of even." DeSean and Vick now share the same agent, and suddenly, DeSean thinks Vick will win the job.)

Eagles training camp preview: Offensive Line - Some hack, Allentown Morning Call

In OTAs, the Eagles played around with lining up Lane Johnson out wide, sort where you might line up a slot receiver. The formation looked something like this (Johnson is #65):

(Jimmy note - This series will be moving to BGN for the defensive side of the ball)\

How much of a loser will Chip Kelly be? - Mark Saltveit,

Chip Kelly will lose more games this year than he ever has in a season as head coach.

Since the most he's lost previously was three games (in his first year, 2009) that's a given. In fact, Kelly will probably lose more games this year than in his entire four-year head coaching career combined (seven so far).
