ESPN's Matt Williamson took a look at who he thinks will be the top 10 NFL running backs 3 years from now in 2016. Cleveland Browns' Trent Richardson came in at #1, but at #2 he's got our very own LeSean McCoy.
McCoy will turn only 25 in July, but he already has four excellent NFL seasons under his belt. He has been a great all-around player for Andy Reid in Philadelphia, but I expect Chip Kelly's up-tempo system to bring out even more from McCoy. He is perfect for what Kelly wants to do, and I expect this coaching staff to relieve McCoy quite a bit with Bryce Brown, which should further enhance McCoy's chances of remaining a high-octane player in 2016.
Rounding out his list are Doug Martin (Buccaneers), Marcus Lattimore (49ers), Christine Michael (Seahawks), Giovani Bernard (Bengals), David Wilson (Giants), Mark Ingram (Saints), C.J. Spiller (Bills) & Jamaal Charles (Chiefs).
The only guy on that list that I feel comfortable saying that I just don't see the potential is Mark Ingram. Do you think there are others who do or don't belong on the list?
