Jorgen Hus, a long snapper who played college football for the Regina Rams likely didn't have many NFL suitors coming out of the Canadian college. But then he took to Youtube.
Hus's 20 second trick shot snapping video got over 30,000 hits and he's now found himself in an NFL training camp with the St. Louis Rams.
"I don't know that it had anything to do with me getting seen or getting signed, but it probably didn't hurt," Hus told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. "If nothing else, maybe it helps me stand out from the pack."
Of course, the Eagles have a long snapper who is known for doing tricks of his own, but those are usually with playing cards, not footballs.
I'm not sure whether the Rams will be a very good football team, but they do have the makings of a great traveling sideshow. Not only do they have a trick shot long snap artists, but also the NFL's largest man. I also hear Jeff Fisher is very good at guessing people's weight.
