Preview: Eagles full-team OTAs kickoff today

Today marks the start of the Eagles first full-team (rookies and veterans) OTAs. It will be the first of three blocks where the team will get to practice and coaches will get to teach their schemes and philosophies. This first block of practices will last until Wednesday, then the team will reconvene on May 20th for another three days of practice. The team will will wrap up OTAs with practices from May 28th-31st.

A handful of rookies will miss these practices due to late graduations, but for the most part, the entire team will be together for the first time. Some of those late-graduates will not be able to participate in team activities until voluntary workouts that start on April 16th, while others will have to wait until June's mandatory workouts. This first batch of practices is where players that are low on the totem pole can start to impress the new staff and where the rookies can show that they can run with the veterans.

Here is a look at the roster headed into this week's OTAs by position:

(Update: According to Aaron Wilson of Fox Sports, the Eagles have cut WR DeMarco Sampson and DT Ronnie Cameron. The team signed WR Will Murphy and DE Daryell Walker in a related move.)
