NFLN's Albert Breer is stationed in Philadelphia as the Eagles prepare to make the #4 overall selection in tonight's draft. He checked in just a few moments ago with a few Eagles draft nuggets.
The Eagles are very wary of what the Raiders are going to do at #3. They feel comfortable in knowing what will happen with the Chiefs at #1 and the Jaguars at #2, but reports are that the Raiders are aggressively shopping the #3 overall pick in an attempt to move down. So without knowing who exactly will be picking at #3, the Eagles have some uncertainty as to what will happen there.
At #4, the Eagles have identified a group of 4 players they would be comfortable taking. So if they stand pat, they'll be taking whoever among that group is left.
Including those 4, the Eagles have a group of 8 players that they believe are true difference makers in this class. So if they do trade down, it will not likely be very far as they appear set on getting themselves one of that group of 8.
