According to Jeff McLane of Philly.com, the Eagles are looking to deal the 4th overall pick. The team is reportedly so interested in trading down, that Howie Roseman has reached out to two different general managers in an attempt to forge a trade agreement, just in case the guy the Eagles want is off the board. McLane speculates that the reason for the trade urgency, could be in reaction to rumors that offensive tackles Luke Joeckel and Eric Fisher will be drafted within the first three picks of the 2013 NFL Draft.
Roseman and Chip Kelly have made it clear in interviews that the draft lacks "can't miss" players, so the urge to move down is not really a surprise. Several draft analysts (not rumors but guesses) have speculated that teams like the Chargers, Dolphins and Cardinals could be interested in dealing for the 4th overall pick in order to get Oklahoma offensive tackle, Lane Johnson. The likeliest way a deal gets done is if the Eagles are comfortable with the drop spot and the compensation they are offered.
Where would you like to see the Eagles trade down and who would you want them to pick? What compensation are you looking for?
