It’s a new day in Philadelphia. Football America –- college and pro alike –- is eager to see how well Chip Kelly’s rapid-paced offense can work in the NFL. Kelly’s spread, space-oriented zone concepts are an extreme version of what a lot of the league is trending towards right now. We know those extremes work well against college defensive players and schemes. What will it take for them to successfully translate to the pros?

After spending the last four seasons developing into one of the best offensive linemen produced by Syracuse University, Pugh is expected to be taken in the second round when the NFL Draft is held later this week. He could even go in the first round, which will be held Thursday night. The second and third rounds will be conducted Friday night. There is a chance the almost 6-foot-5, 307-pound Pugh may even get picked by the Eagles, the team he grew up rooting for, just a few dozen miles away from his home in Holland and the high school he attended, Council Rock South.
