Mel Kiper big board has Floyd, Milliner at the top

USA TODAY Sports

ESPN draft guru Mel Kiper Jr released his latest big board and for the first time this offseason Georgia LB Jarvis Jones is not at the top of his list. That spot is now occupied by Florida DT Sharrif Floyd, who has been seen as a top prospect for months now, but has really rocketed up draft boards recently.

He's also got Alabama CB Dee Milliner at #2. We know already that Kiper likes Milliner, but ranking him this high is certainly a strong statement. This isn't a mock draft obviously, but given the distance between Milliner and the rest of the corners as well the position need of the top 5 teams... It's looking very likely he'll go top 5.

Other notable moves are Eric Fisher moving past Luke Joeckel. Fisher has great tape and great offseason workouts that have really shown off his athleticism. Joeckel, while having the strong tape, was somewhat disappointing at the combine.

Also along the offensive line, Mel has Tarheels G Johnathan Cooper over Chance Warmack now. How you feel about those guys probably depends a lot on what kind of system you run. Warmack is a mauler for sure, but he's not the athlete that Cooper is. If you run a zone system, it may well be that Cooper is the better fit.

Here's Mel's full list. For a full analysis of each prospect, check out ESPN Insider.
