Pound the Table Writers Announcement

The "Pound the Table" segment is set to kick off next Tuesday and we now have our writers. Below you will see the BGNers pegged with the task of pounding the table for THEIR GUY in the draft. Everyone who participated in the mini-audition conveyed great points, but unfortunately we couldn't fit everyone in. While no one specifically championed the "trade down" posts (two will be combined on April 18th and one will be on April 23), Dan and I picked the contributors for the players and the runner-ups became the pro-trade down crew. You can email your entry to me no later than midnight before the article is set to go up (so Monday night for Tuesday editions and Wednesday night for Thursday editions).

Remember, to title the email: Your Player's Name and Your BGN Handle.

Also remember, the not so strict guidelines of the post:

  • Try to keep explanations to under 400 words. I know you are passionate about your guy, because he is YOUR GUY, but in order to really zone-in on why we should want the player, be short and sweet.
  • You can be funny, but let's keep the humor to a minimum (remember you're in the War Room).
  • Back up your points with facts and sources to prove your point (Todd McShay quotes do not count as facts in any realm).
