2013 NFL Mock Draft: Post free agency mock

Check out our 2013 Eagles mock draft central for more opinions on who could be the #4 pick in April.

USA TODAY Sports

Mock drafters have been toiling away for months carefully picking apart the needs of each team and matching up the best prospects to fill them... By last week they probably felt they had it perfect.

Then everything changed.

The NFL's free agent frenzy has changed almost everything you thought you knew about draft. The top guys are still the top guys but the needs of almost every team have changed. And in the case of the Vikings, a team has even nabbed an extra first round pick.

The Philadelphia Eagles were aggressive in free agency as they moved to fill numerous holes on the defensive side of the ball. OLB Connor Barwin was arguably the biggest splash and would seemingly fill the exact same position a guy like Dion Jordan would. Jordan had been a popular name in mocks for the Eagles.

Most of the bird's free agent work was in the secondary where they grabbed a pair of safeties and corners. Does this take Dee Milliner out of the equation?

The one notable area that was a major weakness last year that still hasn't been addressed? Offensive line. In his latest mock for NFL.com, former NFL scout Bucky Brooks have them addressing that very position with Central Michigan OT Eric Fisher.

"Perennial Pro Bowl OT Jason Peters is scheduled to return from injury, but that won't prevent the Eagles from adding an athletic edge blocker with tremendous potential," wrote Brooks.
