The Eagles hosted former 49ers DL Ricky Jean-Francois for a free agent visit today, but the player has left town without a contract. He is reportedly heading to Indianapolis to visit with the Colts next.
It certainly preclude RJF from eventually signing here, but the fact that the Eagles let him leave town without a deal is a pretty strong indication that he'll be elsewhere next year.
Eagles GM Howie Roseman says the team got the guys it wanted.
"We had targeted specific guys, and we were looking for what was best for our organization, for our football team, and we had a plan. When we went into free agency, these were the guys we targeted, we went aggressively after them, we recruited them, and we're excited to have them."
