Russ Isabella-US PRESSWIRE

Tony Pauline released his latest mock draft for USA Today this week and that's particularly notable for Eagles fans for a couple of reasons. For one, he's just a really good draft guy that covers a lot of college football and is someone worth following. The other is that he's well connected to the Eagles and does draft analysis for their website.

His Eagles pick is not exactly a new name, but it's not Luke Joeckel again, so that's at least a change. I love Joeckel and would be very happy with him as the pick, but for the purposes of these mock drafts... I'm a little bored.

For the Eagles, Pauline has Star Lotulelei as the pick.

"Some will argue Lotulelei is the draft's top player," Pauline wrote. "He offers a remedy for the Eagles' porous run defense and the ability to line up in a 3-4 or 4-3."

Here's his full mock.
