Last week we talked about the possibility that Utah DT Star Lotulelei was being overrated by mock drafters and that other DTs, namely Florida's Sharrif Floyd, were rated higher in the eyes of NFL teams.

That may not be happening quite as often. More and more we're starting too see Floyd creep up mocks and Star slides down. Daniel Jeremiah's most recent mock draft was a good example of this.

Another examples of the rise of Floyd comes from Josh Norris on NFL.com, however, he doesn't seem the same slide for Star as others with both DTs going in the top 3. If there was a run on interior lineman at the top of the draft, that would certainly benefit the Eagles, who in this mock have Luke Joeckel dropping into their lap.

Obviously, if Chip Kelly has full confidence that Jason Peters will return to form, this pick might not happen. Joeckel showed a few rough edges against Florida, but he fits the style of offense Kelly ran at Oregon -- if that is indeed the direction he intends to go.

I always do try to keep an open mind when reading these mocks, but there were certainly some head scratchers in here. Cordarelle Patterson as a top 10 pick surprises me and I'd be willing to bet that doesn't happen. Ditto for Kenny Vaccaro. Cornelius Carradine is a very good player, but he did tear his ACL in late November.
