Eagles-Lions Final Injury Report: Earl Wolff, Najee Goode Ruled Out

Only two Eagles have been ruled out for Sunday's Eagles-Lions game.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Eagles final injury report is here and there are no surprises as the teams prepares to take on the Lions at home on Sunday.

Rookie safety Earl Wolff has been ruled out. Wolff missed practice all week with a knee injury. He is still at least a week away from returning. Veteran safety Patrick Chung will start in place of Wolff.

The other Eagles player ruled out of action is inside linebacker Najee Goode (hamstring). Goode typically contributes on special teams, but he did a nice job of filling in for an injured Mychal Kendricks recently. Kendricks is back as the starter, and with Goode out, that likely means Jake Knott will be backing up Kendricks.

Wide receiver Jeff Maehl is listed as probable despite suffering a concussion during the Eagles-Cardinals game. He's since been cleared to return.

Wolff and Goode are the two major injuries. Everyone else on the report is listed as no worse than probable.
