Eagles Injury Report: Three Players Miss Practice

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Eagles released their second injury report of the week on Thursday as they prepare for their match-up against the Detroit Lions this upcoming Sunday.

There aren't too many changes from Wednesday's injury report. In fact, the only change is the return of special teams player and depth wide receiver Jeff Maehl. The Maehl man left Sunday's Eagles-Cardinals game with a head injury and it was later confirmed to be a concussion. Maehl has apparently passed concussion testing and has been cleared to return to action.

Clifton Geathers missed practice for the second straight day due to personal, non-injury related reasons. Earl Wolff figures to be out for Sunday's matchup. It looks like a hamstring injury could keep out Najee Goode as well. Rookie linebacker Jake Knott will likely take Goode's place as a backup.
