With the 2014 NFL playoff schedule set, it's time to take a look at each team's post-season chances. Who are the favorites, and where do the Eagles rank? Odds are provided courtesy of Bovada.lv
First up, updated Super Bowl odds. The Broncos and Seahawks, top of their conferences, are the obvious favorites.
Odds to win the 2014 Super Bowl XLVIII
Denver Broncos 11/4
Seattle Seahawks 11/4
San Francisco 49ers 7/1
New England Patriots 9/1
Carolina Panthers 10/1
Green Bay Packers 14/1
Cincinnati Bengals 16/1
Philadelphia Eagles 16/1
New Orleans Saints 22/1
Kansas City Chiefs 25/1
Indianapolis Colts 28/1
San Diego Chargers 40/1
As you can see, the Eagles have the eighth best odds of winning it all this year.
And now for NFC conference championship winner odds:
Odds to win the 2014 NFC Conference
Seattle Seahawks 10/11
Carolina Panthers 5/1
San Francisco 49ers 5/1
Green Bay Packers 8/1
Philadelphia Eagles 9/1
New Orleans Saints 14/1
Despite entering the playoffs as the No. 3 seed, the Eagles only have the fifth best odds of winning the NFC. Vegas is big on the return of Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, which is probably a fair thing. The Eagles' first round opponent, the Saints, have the worst odds.
As for exact Super Bowl matchups, the Eagles' most likely AFC opponent is the Denver Broncos. If you're hoping for an Andy Reid vs. Chip Kelly Super Bowl, it might not be the best idea to get your hopes up too far.
Exact Super Bowl Matchup
Denver Broncos vs. Philadelphia Eagles 16/1
New England Patriots vs. Philadelphia Eagles 40/1
Cincinnati Bengals vs. Philadelphia Eagles 75/1
Indianapolis Colts vs. Philadelphia Eagles 100/1
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles 150/1
San Diego Chargers vs. Philadelphia Eagles 150/1
How are you feeling about the Eagles post-season chances?
