Eagles vs. Cowboys 2013 Inactives: Earl Wolff Out

Rich Schultz

With kickoff not too far away, the Eagles-Cowboys inactives have been released.

The most significant inactives appear on the Cowboys' side. Dallas is dealing with a number of injuries to critical players. Quarterback Tony Romo was officially ruled out on Friday after having season-ending back surgery. Reports early in the week indicated Romo wouldn't play. Veteran QB Kyle Orton starts in Romo's place.

Another player ruled out of action is the Cowboys' "quarterback of the defense":  inside linebacker Sean Lee. Lee, suffering from a neck injury, is a key component of the Dallas defense. His absence is a significant loss. Dez Bryant (back) and DeMarcus Ware (back) are active despite dealing with minor injuries that flared up in practice this week.

For the Eagles, rookie safety Earl Wolff is inactive. Wolff practiced all week but noted his knee felt sore. He was ruled as questionable heading into tonight's match-up. Veteran safety Patrick Chung will start in place of Wolff.

Backup safety/special teams player Colt Anderson and backup center Julian Vandervelde are also inactive after missing practice all week with injuries. Evan Mathis is the team's emergency backup center.

Eagles Inactives:

Colt Anderson - Injury.

Julian Vandervelde - Injury.

Curtis Marsh - Depth CB.

Matt Tobin - Depth OL.

Dennis Kelly - Depth OL.

Matthew Tucker - Depth RB.

Matt Barkley - Depth QB.
