Eagles vs. Bears Week 16 Snap Counts

Howard Smith-USA TODAY Sports

These are the snap counts from the Philadelphia Eagles 54-11 victory over the Chicago Bears on Sunday.

OFFENSE

Name Offense Percentage
Evan Mathis 64 100%
Todd Herremans 64 100%
Lane Johnson 64 100%
Jason Peters 61 95%
Jason Kelce 61 95%
Nick Foles 61 95%
DeSean Jackson 59 92%
Brent Celek 58 91%
Riley Cooper 55 86%
LeSean McCoy 44 69%
James Casey 30 47%
Jason Avant 27 42%
Zach Ertz 15 23%
Bryce Brown 12 19%
Chris Polk 9 14%
Jeff Maehl 7 11%
Allen Barbre 3 5%
Julian Vandervelde 3 5%
Damaris Johnson 3 5%
Michael Vick 3 5%
Brad Smith 1 2%

Observations: Lots of snaps for Brent Celek this week after only being used in 45% of last week's snaps. This makes sense since the Eagles ran the ball more often this time. Sticking with the tight ends, Zach Ertz played a relatively low 23% but still made some contributions. James Casey played a season high 47%. Jason Avant's snaps were nearly cut in half from last week. At the bottom of the chart, you can see Michael Vick played some garbage time snaps.

DEFENSE

Name Defense Percentage
Bradley Fletcher 65 100%
Patrick Chung 61 94%
Nate Allen 53 82%
Mychal Kendricks 53 82%
DeMeco Ryans 53 82%
Cary Williams 52 80%
Connor Barwin 51 78%
Trent Cole 38 58%
Vinny Curry 38 58%
Fletcher Cox 37 57%
Brandon Boykin 35 54%
Brandon Graham 27 42%
Bennie Logan 25 38%
Cedric Thornton 21 32%
Clifton Geathers 20 31%
Damion Square 19 29%
Casey Matthews 14 22%
Roc Carmichael 13 20%
Najee Goode 12 18%
Jake Knott 12 18%
Keelan Johnson 12 18%
Earl Wolff 4 6%

Observations: Some of the defensive numbers are skewed due to the blowout. The main thing to notice is the low count for Earl Wolff. Wolff seems to tweak his knee early in the game and did not return. Chip Kelly said Wolff's absence was a precautionary measure. Patrick Chung played in place of Wolff. Keelan Johnson, the rookie safety that the Eagles promoted to the active roster earlier in the week, played his first NFL snaps in garbage time.
