According to a report from ESPN insider Adam Schefter, next week's Eagles-Cowboys game in Dallas has been flexed to Sunday Night Football on NBC. The game was originally scheduled to take place at 1 PM. It will now start at 8:30 PM EST.
Cowboys-Eagles will be flexed to prime time next Sunday night, per NFL official.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) December 23, 2013
The Week 17 game will be the Eagles' second appearance on SNF in a row. Primetime.
The flex decision should come as no surprise. Thanks to a Dallas victory over the Redskins earlier on Sunday, the winner of the Week 17 Eagles-Cowboys will be crowned champion of the NFC East. It certainly has the makings of a huge game.
