The Hurry Up: Both sides of Eagles-Bears - JimmyK, Philly.com
On this week's episode of The Hurry Up, Philly.com's Jimmy Kempski and Dan Wiederer of the Chicago Tribune join CineSport's Noah Coslov to preview Sunday night's Bears-Eagles game.
Laser Focus - Tommy Lawlor, Iggles Blitz
Nick Foles is having a great season. Michael Vick got off to a hot start before he got hurt. Chip Kelly’s offense and coaching are big reasons why, but it sounds like QB coach Bill Lazor is also part of the equation.
Kelly and NFL prove to be a good match - Zach Berman, Inquirer
The boats were burned in January. Chip Kelly has been an NFL coach ever since - or, as he joked this past week, a pro coach eight times this season and not the other six games. Kelly came from Oregon with a quick wit and a quick tongue, but he has also been a quick study. The Eagles enter Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears at 8-6, in first place in the NFC East, and with a home playoff date ready to be scheduled for the first weekend in January depending upon how they close the season.
Week 16 Eagles Viewing Guide - Sheil Kapadia, Birds 24/7
We went over playoff scenarios earlier in the week, but since several of the early games could impact Sunday night’s Eagles-Bears matchup, here is your one-stop shop for what to be looking for/rooting for during the day.
Kellystrator: Kelly Getting Creative With DeSean - PE.com
From Eagles Game Plan, head coach Chip Kelly diagrams how and why he was able to create space for wide receiver DeSean Jackson against the Minnesota Vikings and how it led to his career day last Sunday.
Scouting Report: McCoy against NFL-worst run D - Geoff Mosher, CSN Philly
After an eight-carry disaster against Minnesota, LeSean McCoy pleaded this week for more handoffs and more responsibility against the Bears. If he doesn’t get at least 20 carries, it’ll be malpractice by Chip Kelly. The Bears are a scoring juggernaut, but they’re the NFL’s worst team at stopping the run, and it’s not even close. They’re the league’s only team that allows more than five yards per carry. Not only should McCoy be heavily involved, but this sets up well for Chris Polk and Bryce Brown (if he’s still allowed to touch the ball) to make an impact as well.
In Studio: Author Mark Saltveit - PE.com
Author of "The Tao Of Chip Kelly" Mark Saltveit joins us in studio to discuss the philosophy of Chip Kelly's coaching style dating back to his days at Oregon.
