Eagles vs. Vikings Week 15 Snap Counts

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sport

These are the snap counts from the Philadelphia Eagles 48-30 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

OFFENSE

Name Offense Percentage
Evan Mathis 69 100%
Todd Herremans 69 100%
Lane Johnson 69 100%
Jason Peters 69 100%
Jason Kelce 69 100%
Nick Foles 69 100%
DeSean Jackson 63 91%
Riley Cooper 61 88%
Jason Avant 58 84%
LeSean McCoy 57 83%
Zach Ertz 45 65%
Brent Celek 31 45%
Chris Polk 9 13%
Jeff Maehl 8 12%
James Casey 5 7%
Brad Smith 3 4%
Bryce Brown 3 4%
Damaris Johnson 2 3%

The most notable difference in the offensive snap counts is the emergence of Zach Ertz. For the first time this year Ertz finished with more snaps than Brent Celek. This makes sense because the Eagles favored the passing attack instead of the run game. Celek has been more heavily used as a run blocker while Ertz is a weapon through the air.

Another interesting thing to notice is the disappearance of Bryce Brown. Chris Polk played more snaps than Bryce Brown for the first time all year. It's possible Polk has surpassed Brown on the depth chart.

At the bottom of the chart, you can see Brad Smith is still getting a select few snaps here and there. Also: Damaris Johnson played!

DEFENSE

Name Defense Percentage
Nate Allen 75 100%
Bradley Fletcher 75 100%
Connor Barwin 75 100%
Mychal Kendricks 75 100%
DeMeco Ryans 74 99%
Cary Williams 66 88%
Fletcher Cox 63 84%
Trent Cole 55 73%
Bennie Logan 50 67%
Patrick Chung 49 65%
Cedric Thornton 47 63%
Kurt Coleman 26 35%
Vinny Curry 22 29%
Brandon Graham 20 27%
Brandon Boykin 17 23%
Roc Carmichael 12 16%
Clifton Geathers 11 15%
Damion Square 9 12%
Colt Anderson 4 5%

On defense, Bennie Logan played a season high percentage of snaps. Safety Patrick Chung's snaps decreased because he was benched during the game. Kurt Coleman filled in for Chung before leaving with an injury. Colt Anderson also saw a few snaps due to the state of the safeties. Boykin played fewer snaps than he usually would have due to leaving the game with an injury.
