Eagles vs. Cardinals 2013 Inactives: Michael Vick to back up Nick Foles

Rich Schultz

Here is a look at the Eagles inactives as they take on the Cardinals in Philadelphia today.

Michael Vick is ACTIVE and will be the backup to newly named starting quarterback Nick Foles. This move forces rookie Matt Barkley back to the inactive list. Patrick Chung is starting in place of injured rookie safety Earl Wolff.

The Eagles are electing to keep only seven offensive linemen active, which means five starters and two backups.

Depth receiver and return man Damaris Johnson is active after being a healthy scratch two weeks ago versus the Redskins.

Eagles Inactives:

Matt Barkley - Depth QB.

Earl Wolff - Knee injury.

Curtis Marsh - Depth CB.

Emmanuel Acho - Depth LB.

Matt Tobin - Depth OL.

Dennis Kelly - Depth OL.

Matthew Tucker - Depth RB.

For Arizona, the key loss is RB Andre Ellington. The rookie runningback was expected to play today barring a setback in warmups. It turns out he won't be active after all.

Cardinals Inactives: QB Ryan Lindley, RB Ryan Williams, RB Andre Ellington, LB Dontay Moch, G Earl Watford, TE Kory Sperry, DE Ronald Talley.
