Sink or Swim, Kid - Tommy Lawlor, Iggles Blitz
Andy Reid drove us insane last year. He had a banged up O-line. LeSean McCoy and DeSean Jackson were hurt. Reid had a rookie QB in Nick Foles. So what did Reid do? He threw the ball. A lot. That made no sense to any of us. But was Reid really doing us a favor?

Special Teams Players of the Week | The MMQB with Peter King
Donnie Jones, punter, Philadelphia. Four of his six punts in a 24-16 win pinned Washington inside its 20-yard-line (at the 2, 17, 15 and 4), but it was that last one that was one of the plays of the day. Having lost all offensive momentum, midway through the fourth quarter and clinging to that 24-16 lead, the Eagles had to punt from their 26, and Jones nailed a 70-yarder down to the Washington 4-yard-line. Robert Griffin III didn’t have a 96-yard drive in him, and the Eagles hung on.

7 ridiculous stats that prove Nick Foles is the best QB in the NFL | For The Win
Even though Peyton Manning remains on pace to break the major single-season passing records in 2013 (5715 yards and 54 TDs), he’s no longer the NFL leader in passing efficiency. That title currently belongs to Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles, who has now thrown enough passes to qualify for the QB rating title and currently leads Manning 128.0 to 118.3.

Quitting the N.F.L. - For John Moffitt, the Money Wasn’t Worth It -
John Moffitt, who walked away from about $1 million in salary from the 9-1 Broncos, said continuing to play for money was likely to injure him further and deepen his gloom.

Mike Shanahan refutes RGIII's remarks on Eagles loss -
Robert Griffin III said after the Washington Redskins' 24-16 loss that it felt like the Philadelphia Eagles' defense knew what plays were coming. RGIII's comments were taken as a shot, at least tangentially, at coach Mike Shanahan. On Monday, Shanahan said he viewed the Eagles' success as merely a defensive scheme to take away the pass.

Did the Kennedys have designs on buying the Eagles? -
An NFL Network series related to the Kennedy assassination and the NFL again raises the possibility that this city's beloved football franchise could have fallen into the Massachusetts family's hands. Timed for this week's 50th anniversary of JFK's assassination, The Untold NFL History of That Day in Dallas, which debuts Wednesday on, includes a remembrance from a close Kennedy friend that the Eagles' "relatively modest price" intrigued the brothers.
