NFL Power Rankings 2013, Week 12: Eagles Almost Breach Top 10

Now that Week 11 of the NFL is over, it's that time to see where all 32 teams rank. For reference purposes, here is a link to last week's NFL Power Rankings.

The Eagles' home victory over the Redskins helped them jump up for the third straight week.

Let's dive right in.

BLG's WEEK 12 POWER RANKINGS:

1) Denver Broncos (Last Week: 2) - There's a new number one in town. Even one of the best defenses in the league couldn't stop Peyton Manning and the Denver offense.

2) Seattle Seahawks (LW: 1) - The Seahawks have more wins than anybody in the NFL to this point thanks to a late bye week. Seattle is enjoying a 6 game win streak heading into their bye week.

3) New Orleans Saints (LW: 4) - The Saints remain undefeated at home.

4) Carolina Panthers (LW: 6) - Carolina faced their toughest opponent of the year and got the win on national television at home. The ending may have been controversial, but Carolina clearly played well enough to win that game. Carolina is red hot; they've won 6 straight.

5) Kansas City Chiefs (LW: 1) - Andy Reid's Chiefs are undefeated no longer. Sunday night showed exactly why I have reservations about this team's ceiling. Make no mistake, KC is a good team. But while the defense is excellent, only scoring 1.8 offensive touchdowns a game (27th) isn't a winning recipe. Especially when you're facing Peyton Manning.

6) Indianapolis Colts (LW: 7) - I'm not sure what that Rams loss was about two weeks ago, but the Colts rebounded with a comeback win in Tennessee on Thursday Night Football. Indy is the only team with a winning record in the AFC South, so it's safe to say they're in the driver's seat.

7) New England Patriots (LW: 5) - Boston fans will complain that the Patriots got robbed on the final call in that Panthers game.

8) Cincinnati Bengals (LW: 13) - Cruising at the top of the AFC North. Weird win over Cleveland. Cincy scored 31 of their 41 final points in the second quarter.

9) San Francisco 49ers (LW: 8) - The Saints are tough to beat in the dome. SF played hard but didn't get the job done. Two game losing streak.

10) Chicago Bears (LW: 11) - The weather didn't prevent a Bears win at home. Jay Cutler was injured yet again, but his backup has looked capable.

11) Philadelphia Eagles (LW: 15) - Almost top ten. The Eagles are on a roll. Three wins in a row, with one finally coming at home. Nick Foles is playing well. 11th best point differential in the NFL. Philly is the only team to have surrendered 21 points or less in each of their last seven games.

12) Arizona Cardinals (LW: 13) - Found themselves down to the Jags in the first quarter but turned the juice on and finished with the win.

13) Detroit Lions (LW: 9) - Trap game in Pittsburgh. Detroit has an easy schedule the rest of the way.

14) Dallas Cowboys (LW: 14) - No change. Battling with the Eagles for the NFC East lead.

15) Miami Dolphins (LW: 19) - The Dolphins stopped the bleeding with a win at home.

16) Green Bay Packers (LW: 10) - Just not the same team without Aaron Rodgers. Scott Tolzien isn't cutting it.

17) San Diego Chargers (LW: 16) - Three losses in a row for San Diego.

18) Baltimore Ravens (LW: 17) - The defending Super Bowl champs just haven't looked like anything special.

19) New York Jets (LW: 18) - Weird team. The only team to alternate between wins and losses through 10 games. NYJ owns the league's second worst point differential and worst turnover differential.

20) St. Louis Rams (LW: 22) - Bye week.

21) Oakland Raiders (LW: 23) - The Matt McGloin Era is here!

22) Pittsburgh Steelers (LW: 24) - The Steelers aren't dead yet. A fourth quarter comeback kept their season alive. For now.

23) Buffalo Bills (LW: 25) - Rookie QB E.J. Manuel looked good for the Bills. It's hard not to like the fight the Bills have shown.

24) New York Giants (LW: 27) - Yeah, yeah. Four in a row. New York now merely has the 7th worst point differential and are tied for only the second worst turnover differential. Let's see how they handle some real competition. Tony Romo is way better than any QB they've faced recently.

25) Cleveland Browns (LW: 20) - Beat up by their division rival.

26) Tennessee Titans (LW: 21) - Lost to the worst team in the NFL two weeks ago, and then blew a lead at home this week.

27) Washington Redskins (LW: 26) - The worst team in the NFC East. DC's defense stinks. To make matters worse, the Redskins don't have a first round draft pick to look forward to this year.

28) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (LW: 31) - The Bucs are red hot! OK, not quite, but it's two wins in a row for them. Bobby Rainey rushed for 163 yards and 3 TD in a TB win. The Bucs can enjoy the fact they aren't the worst team in the NFC South.

29) Minnesota Vikings (LW: 28) - Tough match on the road for Minny. Nothing going, and Christian Ponder had a rough day.

30) Houston Texans (LW: 30) - They allowed 197 yards passing and 3 touchdowns to an undrafted rookie free agent quarterback. From Penn State!

31) Atlanta Falcons (LW: 29) - Just a massive failure. Four losses in a row. Atlanta's defense is allowing an average of 34 points per game in their last four matches. They are also scoring an average of 15 points in that stretch.

32) Jacksonville Jaguars (LW: 32) - JAX is showing some fight, which counts for something I guess.
