Pro Football Focus is a site that grades NFL player performances. Let's take a look at what they had to say about the performances in Philadelphia's 24-16 victory over the Washington Redskins.

PFF offers explanation on their grading system on their website. Read more about that here.

OFFENSE

Best

Nick Foles +4.6
Lane Johnson +2.5
DeSean Jackson +2.4
Jason Kelce +1.6
Jason Peters +1.5
Evan Mathis +1.3
LeSean McCoy +0.9

Worst

Brent Celek -1.5
Todd Herremans -0.2

Analysis: Nick Foles led the way with 17 completions on 26 attempts (65.4%), 1 rushing touchdown, and a 104.3 QB rating. Rookie tackle Lane Johnson seems to be catching on. It's the third straight week where he's received a positive grade. Johnson's run blocking is what made him stand out against Washington. DeSean Jackson caught 4 passes on 4 targets for 82 yards and also graded positively as a blocker. A chunk of the Eagles' offensive line played well with Kelce, Peters, and Mathis all finishing with positive grades. Peters, playing through multiple injuries, deserves some extra credit. LeSean McCoy rushed for 77 yards which put him for over 1,000 on the season.

There weren't many poor performances on offense. PFF marked Celek down for his run blocking. Todd Herremans was graded negatively as a pass blocker, per usual. He allowed 4 QB hurries.

DEFENSE

Best

Bennie Logan +1.8
Brandon Boykin +1.4
Connor Barwin +1.0
Brandon Graham +0.9
Fletcher Cox +0.5

Worst

Roc Carmichael -2.0
Najee Goode -2.0
Patrick Chung -1.6
Cary Williams -1.0

Analysis: Bennie Logan was a beast! The rookie NT finished with 3 hurries, 2 tackles (1 assist), and 1 stop. Brandon Boykin wasn't too bad either. Along with the game sealing interception, he made 3 tackles and generally looked good in coverage. Connor Barwin finished the day with 1 sack, 1 batted pass, 4 tackles (3 assists) and 3 stops. Barwin seems good for a batted pass almost every game. Brandon Graham played well in limited snaps. He put a crushing hit on the Redskins' RB. Fletcher Cox was dominant and would have had a higher grade if not for the two penalties he committed.

Roc Carmichael was graded positively against Green Bay but struggled this week. Carmichael tackled well but allowed 5 receptions for 114 yards and 1 TD. Najee Goode struggled in run defense as he missed 3 tackles. Patrick Chung struggled in coverage and missed 2 tackles. Cary Williams gave up 3 catches for 43 yards.
