Eagles-Redskins Final Score: Philadelphia holds on for a HOME WIN over Washington, 24-16 - BLG, BGN
Recapping all your Eagles victory goodness.

The Week 11 NFC East Champions: The Philadelphia Eagles
OK, so having sole possession of 1st place in the NFC East after Week 11 means squadoosh. Still, for a team that has mostly overachieved in terms of preseason expectations, it's OK to enjoy the following sight heading into the bye week.

PHI 24 , WAS 16 - Tommy Lawlor, Iggles Blitz
That was too close for comfort, but a big win nonetheless. The Eagles ended a long home losing streak. They essentially buried any hopes the Skins had of making a playoff run. And the Eagles claimed sole possession of 1st place in the NFC East. Being atop the NFC East doesn’t have the cache that it used to. Nowadays it is the equivalent of being the smartest Burger King employee (a joke I can use since I once manned the Whopper station for part of a summer). Still, this team was 3-8 this time last year and all hope was gone. It might be a down year for the division, but I won’t apologize for enjoying seeing the Eagles in the top spot.

On Field And Off, Barwin Key For 'D' - Danta Klaus, PE.com
Connor Barwin came to Philadelphia as a free agent after spending the first four seasons of his NFL career with the Houston Texans. A veteran of the 3-4 defense, he immediately took on a leadership role and has been integral in the scheme transition and the unit's overall ascent over the last seven games. Barwin, 6-foot-4, 264, is a phenomenal athlete and has numerous responsibilities within the defense, from rushing the passer to dropping back in coverage. Not many players can do everything that Barwin is asked to do, let alone at such a high level, according to defensive coordinator Bill Davis.

For Eagles’ Defense, ‘Clutch’ Is Routine - Tim McManus, Birds 24/7
There is a portion of Chip Kelly‘s practice called "Clutch Period." The music gets turned up as loud as it can go, x-amount of time is put up on the clock, and the first team offense is pitted against the first-team defense. Kelly’s group is trying to score before time expires. Billy Davis‘ unit is trying to get off the field. It was a familiar feeling, then, when the defense was called on with 3:26 remaining and given the task of keeping RGIII and the Redskins out of the end zone.

Foles: ‘Guys go to work knowing that we haven’t arrived—you never arrive.’ - Andrew Kulp, The700Level
What’s the secret to Nick Foles’ success this season? It’s quite simple, really. He just goes to work every day and tries to improve at his craft—that, and he channels the likes of Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady.

McCoy breaks 1,000, but has 'more yards to get' - Geoff Mosher, CSN Philly
What’s it mean to have eclipsed 1,000 so early in the season? "It just means a lot more yards to get," McCoy said. "I think the whole offense, the whole offensive line this year, is playing excellent. They’re giving me lanes, giving me one-on-one opportunities. They’re rolling, and I’m just running behind them."
