There are a number of interesting observations to note from today's Eagles-Redskins inactives.
First, Michael Vick is inactive yet again. Matt Barkley is the backup QB. James Casey is the emergency QB.
On the offensive line, Jason Peters is active and starting. Backing him up will be veteran OT Allen Barbre. Philadelphia activated rookie UDFA Matt Tobin for the first time all year as an emergency depth option. Dennis Kelly is a healthy scratch.
Starting cornerback Bradley Fletcher is still out. Roc Carmichael will start in his place. Earl Wolff was already ruled out earlier this week. Patrick Chung takes over for him. The third starter missing from the Eagles' defense is Mychal Kendricks. LB Najee Goode will fill in for Kendricks.
On special teams, Emmanuel Acho fills Jake Knott's spot. At the returner position, newly acquired return man/wide receiver Brad Smith is active. With his addition, Damaris Johnson is inactive today.
